What makes GEMESYS chips different from regular AI chips?

GEMESYS chips are fully analog and use memristors — inspired by the human brain. Unlike digital AI chips (GPUs/TPUs), our architecture processes information without converting between analog and digital, eliminating the bottleneck that wastes 99% of energy in conventional systems. We achieve 10,000× higher training efficiency.
What is edge AI training and why does it matter?

Edge AI training means running AI learning algorithms directly on the device — your phone, sensor, or robot — without sending data to a cloud server. GEMESYS is the world's first chip enabling this. The result: zero latency, full data privacy, no cloud costs, and AI that adapts in real-time to its environment.
What is the EMULAITE project?

EMULAITE is our active R&D project in collaboration with Ruhr University Bochum, funded with €790K by Grüne Gründungen.NRW. It develops analog circuit emulation using memristors to replace gradient-based learning — making AI training 100–1,000× more energy-efficient. Running from September 2024 to December 2026.
